How long is an appointment with the treatment booth?
The session inside of the booth is 15 minutes, but you have the room for 30 minutes to get comfortable in the booth and then reacquainted with the tangible at the end of the session. Please be on time so everyone has the time they need to settle into their appointment.
How many people can go into the booth?
The booth is a 2 person booth and includes two chairs for the session. It is possible to have 1 adult and 2-3 children depending on size of the children.
Is the appointment for Red-light therapy, Salt Therapy, or both?
Yes! It's all of it or either of it. Your 15-minute session is in one booth, and that booth has the ability to have red light therapy and salt therapy, (also known as halotherapy) at the same time. If you only want to try one though, you can also do just red light therapy or just salt therapy. The booth also has an oxygen concentrator which draws additional oxygen into the environment during your session and that can be turned on or off during the session at your preference. This is why it's called the HaloRedO2 😊.
How do I book online if I want a multi-session token?
Book a session and talk to us when you arrive. Let us know that you would like to get a multi-session package and we'll charge you the appropriate amount upfront. You will be issued tokens for the number of sessions you purchased , they have an expiry.
If you have a token already, book normally. When you arrive to pay, give us the (not-expired) token as your payment.
Treat tokens like cash, if they are lost, they cannot be replaced.
Can kids go in the booth?
Yes, the booth is child friendly with a couple of notes. Protective eye ware is recommended so no child who can't keep eyewear on should have a session in the booth. You f children should not go in into the red light for a full 15-minutes. We can determine length based on the child's age. Adults can generally go into the booth once every 48 hours, it is recommended that children have a longer time between sessions.
Can I stop going to my regular health provider?
No. This is not a replacement for regular medical care and we highly recommend that you communicate your medical needs and experiences with your primary health care provider. If you do not have a primary health care provider, please look up your primary care network within Alberta and find one that you can work with.
What's this about eyewear?
The red light is very bright. It's not damaging for your eyes to have direct exposure to the red light, but it is very bright and you might find it more comfortable to have eye protection on. Small goggles are available for you here or you can wear your own personal sunglasses if that is more comfortable for you.
There are only adult sized goggles at the shop currently, so if you are bringing a child, please consider bringing their sunglasses so the light isn't annoying for them.
What's the monthly unlimited option?
Monthly unlimited packages run every calendar month. Come in within the first seven days of the month and ask to sign up for unlimited monthly sessions. The package expires on the last day of the month. Price is $425 regular, $360 for anyone over 65 years of age.
You can come once per day on regular open days.
Do your best to keep 24-hours between scheduling appointments.
If you split the package with a buddy because it's a two person booth, you must come together. You may be allowed to use a session by yourself if your booth buddy is guaranteed to not come on the same day. An example of this would be:
Lion and Bear come to for a session together on Tuesday and Saturday. Bear comes alone on Wednesday and Lion comes alone on Friday. Overall there are 4 appointments applied to Lion and Bear's unlimited package.
